Returns & Refunds
You have the right to cancel our contract and return an item and request a refund. We can only accept returns if they have been returned on time and in accordance with our return and refund policies which you can find below.
The cancellation period will expire after fourteen (14) days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the item, hence we advise our customers to inspect their order within fourteen days from the day the items are received.
In the unlikely event that you received an incorrect order or a defective item, please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send your order number, customer number, product description, reason for returning and send us proof with pictures, so we can evaluate the issue and send you a new item or offer you a refund.
To meet the cancellation deadline of fourteen days, it is sufficient for you to send an email concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Lucid Leah) by sending an email to email@example.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. Please include the word “Return” in the subject line and include the receipt, order number or any other proof of payment in this email. Please also state the reason for the cancellation.
If your request is accepted, we’ll send you instructions, a return form and where to send your return package to. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return and refund by email will not be accepted.
Customers have fourteen days to return the item to us after receiving a return instruction email from firstname.lastname@example.org. We advise you to check your spam folder as well, so you can return the item within fourteen days after receiving the instructions.
Please include the return form (including your name and order number) we have sent to your email in the return package, so we can process your return. You will bear the direct cost of returning the item to Lucid Leah.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. To be eligible for a refund, the item must be received by us before the return and refund period has expired. In addition, the item needs to be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, undamaged, with tags, and in its original packaging including all accessories and packaging components. If the product was damaged due to wearing it in unsuitable conditions, putting pressure on the links or anything else that defects jewelry we won’t be able to accept returns or issue refunds.
If your request is approved, you’ll be automatically credited on your original payment method. We will reimburse all payments received from you, excluding costs for shipping and any custom duties, not later than thirty (30) business days after the day on which we received the returned item(s). Shipping costs for returning the goods are nonrefundable.
We reserve the right to make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
Lucid Leah is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged in transit. The customer bears the costs and responsibility of the return shipment (unless the item is damaged because of a manufacturing fault). The customer is responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged or lost shipments. Hence we advise you to ship with a reliable carrier, obtain proof of postage, obtain a track & trace code and get insurance on the package until we have confirmed that your return package has been received by us.
Note that we refund in euros, so if you asked for a refund in dollars there could be a small exchange rate difference. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Lucid Leah reserves the right to refuse returned items and refuse a refund if the cancellation and return conditions are not met.
Lucid Leah does not offer exchanges. Should you wish to purchase a new item please return your unwanted product to us within the return period for a refund and place a new order online at www.lucidleah.nl
Gift cards are non refundable.
The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the delivery of items for which the price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the trader and which may occur within the cancellation period. The right to cancel does also not apply for custom made products, auctioned items, sample sales items and items bought with gift cards. Please note we do not accept returns on earrings due to hygienic reasons. However exceptions could be made if the earrings are unworn and the jewelry tags are untouched.
The warranty on the quality of Lucid Leah items is sixty (60) days. If we made a mistake, we’re committed to fixing it. Please note that warranty is void if the item shows a defect which is caused by improper use, if you or others have made or attempted to make changes or repairs to the item or used it in a way for which the article is not intended. The warranty doesn’t cover scratches, dullness of metals or stones or jewelry that has been stolen, lost, dropped or deliberately damaged.
